Straight edge is where an individual does not take alcohol, cigerettes, or iligal drugs. Some straight edgers even are against caffine, and prescrïption drugs. Straight edge is also called SXE.

I have answered no, even though I do not do any of those things. One difference is that I am not against prescrïption drugs - that is not very practical, depending on the illness, I think

quite a lot of "straight edgers" do take medication. I base my experience on when I was SXE and people I knew from an SXE forum. At the time I was on meds, and everyone seemed to agree than i wasn't "breaking edge"
