Hi! For those not aware of our existence, here's to let you know that "Hertsveg" is a local vegan group that has been in existence for about 2 and a half years now. We are a social group and hold regular get-togethers (first Friday evening of the month and every other month for a Sunday lunch). All are welcome and we are very informal - the only rule we have is that we ask that everyone eat vegan at meetings. Below is the info contained in our latest monthly newsletter; if you wish to be put on our e-mailing list to receive this in future, let me know (my e-mail address is at the bottom). *FRIDAY 3rd NOVEMBER:
MONTHLY POT LUCK MEAL, Hertfordshire (7.30pm)
We're at a local members' house this month. Everyone is welcome -
just bring a vegan food contribution to share. A very informal and social event and a chance to meet like-minds! E-mail me (address at the bottom) for more info & details. If you are planning on coming, can you let me know by WEDNESDAY 1st NOVEMBER AT THE LATEST, as this helps give an idea of numbers. Many thanks.

*SATURDAY 18th NOVEMBER:
WALK & RESTAURANT VISIT, Hertford (11am)
Organised by London Vegans to link up with Hertsveg, this is a child-friendly walk via Hartham common along the River Lea, stopping en route at Ware for lunch / drink at SoulMammas (newly opened wholefood vegetarian restaurant). Meet at Hertford East Station (Liverpool Street / Tottenham Hale / Seven Sisters BR). Note: due to the close proximity of this event to our usual bi-monthly Sunday lunch, this will continue again in the new year.

Well, the walk and restaurant visit on 18th November was a success! Excellent weather and a very good turnout of vegans meant that we all enjoyed ourselves. Soulmamas is a nice thing to have in the area and the staff are very helpful. Why not come along and say hello at one of our events?

Jointly organised by London Vegans & Hertsveg. Virtually all the food here is vegan (Chinese / Thai  all-you-can-eat buffet for approx. £5.99. per person including drink and dessert). Followed by optional country walk (weather permitting).
